The Richmond Police Department’s First Shift Patrol Division were dispatched to the intersection of US Highway 40 and 16th Street following reports of a multi-vehicle crash. The Richmond Police Department arrested a man on Wednesday with assistance from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the department announced on Facebook. According to RPD, officers were called to a grocery store on Richmond’s east side after receiving a tip regarding the whereabouts of a man who had a nationwide extradition warrant for parole violation.
