In the middle of the Camino de Santiago since 1372, there has been the old Pilgrim Hospital of Melide, a historic place that has welcomed and cared for those who walk the Camino di Santiago. In August 2025 it was reborn as a medical clinic specialized in pilgrim care.
The services we provide are from on-to-one medical consultation with prompt, humane and professional care to resolve minor emergencies, common injuries and clinical needs without hospitalization. It features modern technology, healthcare expertise, and an unwavering commitment to the spirit of the pilgrim.

Outpatient cures and minor medical interventions with professional material: wound cleaning and disinfection, simple stitches, point removal, mild bleeding control and protective or compressive bandages. They also treat skin infections and open wounds with personalized follow-up.
