Mystery in Mustang: Texas Couple Found Dead in Apparent Shooting
Mustang, TX — A quiet Texas community is reeling after a local couple was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds in their home over the weekend. Authorities have launched an active investigation into what they are calling a suspicious and tragic incident.
The discovery was made late Sunday evening after a concerned neighbor contacted police, reporting that they had not seen the couple in several days. Officers with the Mustang Police Department arrived at the residence to conduct a welfare check and found the two victims—identified only as a man and woman in their 50s—dead inside the home.
Both appeared to have suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators have not ruled out any possibilities, including the potential of a murder-suicide. No signs of forced entry were reported, and no one else is believed to be involved at this time.

The bodies have been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsy, which will help determine the exact cause and manner of death. Police have not yet released the victims’ names, pending notification of next of kin.
