A devastating crash in Littlefield, Texas, has left a community in mourning. On July 20, 2022, a silver 2004 Jeep Liberty driven by 30-year-old Carmen Michelle Rodriguez failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of East Loop 430 and U.S. Highway 84.
The vehicle was struck by a Peterbilt Bobtail truck, resulting in the deaths of Carmen and her 13-year-old daughter, Rosalin Rodriguez. A 5-year-old boy and a 2-month-old baby were also in the vehicle; the boy sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, while the baby was unharmed.
