Coventry City Mourn the Passing of Former Striker John Tudor

Born in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, Tudor began his professional career with Ilkeston Town before making his name at Coventry and later Newcastle United, where he enjoyed the most successful spell of his career. At Newcastle, Tudor formed a legendary strike partnership with Malcolm Macdonald, scoring 53 goals in 164 appearances and becoming a fan favourite at St James’ Park.
Tudor was known for his sharp positioning, aerial ability, and a tireless determination that endeared him to teammates and supporters alike. His contribution to English football spanned over a decade, with spells also at Sheffield United and Stoke City.
