The Treasure Ship Restaurant was a beloved waterfront dining and entertainment venue in Panama City Beach, Florida, known for its distinctive pirate ship design and lively atmosphere. Originally opened in 1978, the multi-story structure was built to resemble a grand Spanish galleon, complete with towering masts, wooden decks, and pirate-themed décor.
Offering stunning views of Grand Lagoon, the restaurant quickly became a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, providing a unique blend of dining, entertainment, and adventure. Guests were drawn to its seafood-focused menu, featuring fresh Gulf shrimp, oysters, and signature dishes like blackened grouper.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the Treasure Ship Restaurant thrived as one of Panama City Beach’s most iconic attractions. Families visited not only for the food but also for the live pirate shows, themed events, and interactive experiences designed to immerse guests in a swashbuckling world.
The restaurant featured multiple bars, including the Crow’s Nest, where visitors could enjoy tropical drinks while overlooking the water.
