41-year-old man killed in Delaware County crash.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 41-year-old man was killed during a single vehicle crash in Delaware County on Sunday.
OHP said Matthew Sowers was driving eastbound on East 250 Road, just west of 580 Road, at 3:28 p.m.
His vehicle left the road and crashed into a culvert, roadway sign and ditch before hitting a tree.
Matthew Sowers was pronounced dead on the scene.
OHP said 37-year-old Katelyn Sowers, a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, OHP said.
