Panama City Beach crash leaves two seriously injured and one critical

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Two people were seriously injured and another is critical after a crash in Panama City Beach.
According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Jeep was traveling north on Kelly Street. A 30-year-old woman was driving with a 29-year-old man, an 11-year-old child and a 6-year-old child in the vehicle, all from Falkner, Mississippi.
The Jeep entered the intersection with U.S. 98 and was struck by a pickup truck traveling east with a 30-year-old female driver and a 29-year-old man as a passenger, both from Panama City Beach. FHP says that the jeep violated the right of the truck.
The Jeep came to rest in the intersection while the truck continued across the eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. 98, ultimately coming to a stop in the tree line on the west side of the highway.
The FHP said the Jeep violated the truck’s right of way.
Two occupants of the Jeep, the 30-year-old woman and 6-year-old child received serious injuries. The 29-year-old occupant of the Jeep had critical injuries, and the 11-year-old received minor injuries.
The occupants of the truck received minor injuries.
