Demolition begins at Foghorn’s and Neons Beach Shack in Panama City Beach
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A popular, long-time Panama City Beach nightspot is just a memory, at least for now.
Demolition crews are taking down Foghorn’s on Thomas Drive. Foghorn’s has been around for decades.
It officially closed its doors on September 2nd. Neon’s Beach Shack next door closed on August 8th.
The land is being cleared to build a parking garage for the new 10-story Compass Hotel on the property. Demolition will take about two weeks.
Foghorn’s Facebook page says the owners are looking for possible new locations to reopen. News 13 will let you know when that happens.
