PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL — Ripley’s Believe It or Not! was turned into a jaw-dropping spectacle this weekend as world-renowned stunt performers Captain & Maybelle took center stage. Blending classic sideshow thrills with over-the-top danger, the duo wowed crowds with a heart-pounding display of sword swallowing, fire eating, and mind-bending feats of endurance.
Known for their appearances on “America’s Got Talent” and international stunt stages, Captain & Maybelle brought their unique brand of shock and awe to Ripley’s for a limited-time summer event. Fans packed into the Odditorium to witness their unbelievable performances, which included Captain swallowing a 27-inch sword and Maybelle walking barefoot across a bed of broken glass—while juggling fire torches.
