Richmond Man Arrested in Online Predator Sting Operation (pls dont angry react, it decreases reach significantly)
Richmond, KY — A local man is facing multiple felony charges after being caught in a coordinated sting operation by the Ky Predo Poachers organization (link below) and the Richmond Police Department yesterday evening. According to a statement from the organization, the suspect believed he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl, to whom he allegedly sent explicit videos and messages. The minor was, in fact, a decoy.
The man reportedly invited the decoy to an event where he had just spoken, then changed the meeting location to Cookout in Richmond. He had recently left a sober living house and, per his public Facebook profile, was baptized just over a month ago.
KyPredoPoachers said their full video of covering this incident is available now for Direct Support Team members on YouTube, with public release scheduled for tomorrow at 7 PM. The organization, which operates entirely through volunteers, uses monthly supporter funds to cover operational costs.
