Uncle Giuseppe’s Set to Open New Location in Levittown at Former King Kullen Site
Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is expanding its Long Island footprint with a new location coming soon to Levittown. The specialty grocer will open in the former King Kullen building at 3284 Hempstead Turnpike, which has been vacant since the grocery chain shuttered that location in 2021.
The family-owned market, known for its Italian specialties, prepared foods, and high-quality meats and seafood, is expected to bring a fresh shopping experience to the community. Renovations are already underway to transform the former supermarket into one of Uncle Giuseppe’s signature stores, complete with a full-service deli, bakery, cheese section, and in-store dining options.
This will mark Uncle Giuseppe’s 11th location and is part of the company’s continued growth strategy across the New York metro area. “We’re excited to bring our unique marketplace to Levittown and offer residents a shopping experience that combines old-world charm with top-quality products,” said a company spokesperson.
The new store is anticipated to create dozens of jobs for local residents and inject new energy into a key retail corridor. An official opening date has not been announced, but signs at the site suggest a late 2025 opening. Community response so far has been overwhelmingly positive.
