Tragedy on A413: Two Men Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree Near Amersham
Two men have tragically lost their lives following a serious car crash on the A413 near Amersham in Buckinghamshire. The fatal incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning, when a vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 2:00 AM, but despite the best efforts of paramedics, both men — believed to be in their 20s — were pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash.
Thames Valley Police has launched an investigation into the cause of the collision and is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the moments leading up to the crash.
The road was closed for several hours while accident investigation teams examined the scene and recovery work was carried out. It has since reopened, but delays in the area are still being reported.
