Richmond Police Department SAFE Team Arrest Six
The Richmond Police Department executed a search warrant on April 2, 2025, at a residence located at 404 South 15th Street following an extensive investigation into ongoing illegal drug activity and numerous community complaints. This operation was part of the department’s Strategic and Focused Enforcement (SAFE) Unit initiative to enhance public safety and reduce criminal activity in high-risk areas.
Over the past year, RPD responded to 77 calls for service at this address, with 32 occurring in 2025 alone. Concerns from local residents about suspicious activity, illegal drug use, and theft led law enforcement to increase monitoring and eventually secure a search warrant.
During the early morning operation, RPD SWAT officers and detectives detained multiple individuals and conducted a thorough search of the residence. As a result of the investigation, six individuals were arrested:
Brittney Harmon – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony) and Possession of a Syringe (Level 6 Felony)
Jeremy Jacob – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
Levi Johnson – Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class B Misdemeanor)
Gary Lady – Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class B Misdemeanor)
Lori Martin – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
Lisa Presley – Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
The homeowner, an elderly resident, was released into the care of his family, and Adult Protective Services has been contacted to ensure his well-being.
Chief Kyle Weatherly praised both the department’s sustained efforts and the involvement of community members: “This operation reflects the hard work and dedication of our officers, especially those on the SAFE Team. We appreciate the residents who reported suspicious activity—your vigilance helped us take action and shut this down.”
