Richmond House Fire Ends with a Missing Person.
At approximately 6:30 this morning, March 20, 2025, the Richmond Fire Department responded to a structure fire call in the 100 block of Fort Street. After putting the fire out, it was discovered that the individual who resides in the residence was nowhere to be found when she was reportedly at home before the fire started.
The individual living in the home was identified by family members as 88-year-old, Loretta Dickson Turner. She is approximately 5’10”, tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes. Her natural hair is short and black, but she often wears a wig. She was wearing a maroon wig the last time she was seen. It is too early in the investigation to determine if foul play is suspected, however it would be highly unlikely for Ms. Turner to just disappear without telling someone according to the family members.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but the whereabouts and the safety of Loretta Dickson Turner is our primary concern at this time. She has been listed as a missing person through the Richmond Police Department.
Richmond Police Detectives are requesting anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Loretta Dickson Turner, or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance to please contact the Richmond Police Department at (281) 342-2849.
