A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Wayne County, Indiana.
Wayne County Emergency Communications said the crash happened on Interstate 70, at the 149-mile marker, at approximately 8:53 p.m.
Deputies on the scene found a 2007 Toyota Corolla hit the cable barrier system in the median.
The driver, a man from Greens Fork, Indiana, was declared deceased on the scene. Roads were shut down for roughly three hours as crime scene crews processed the scene.
“The family and loved ones of [the deceased] are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” said Sheriff Randy Retter. “We extend our deepest condolences to those affected by this tragic loss.”
