His wife and three children have travelled to Spain with two of his sisters to accompany him home
A Bangor dad has tragically died in Spain after completing the Camino de Santiago walk last week.
Phill’s wife Joan, and children Travis, Taylor and Jordan have travelled to Spain with two of Phill’s sisters to accompany him on his final journey home on Saturday.
His sudden death created deep shock in his home town, where he had been a dive club coach at the Bangor Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex.
Now more than £10,000 has been raised on a gofundme page by friends of the family to help them cope with travel and funeral costs.
