BREAKING NEWS: Vikings Sign WR Rondale Moore to Enhance Receiving Corps
The Minnesota Vikings have bolstered their receiving lineup by agreeing to terms with free-agent wide receiver Rondale Moore, the team announced Wednesday. Moore, 24, brings speed and versatility to the Vikings’ offense.
Moore began his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals, who selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft. Over three seasons in Arizona, he accumulated 135 receptions for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns. Known for his dynamic playmaking abilities, Moore also contributed in the running game and as a return specialist during his rookie year.
In March 2024, Moore was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder. However, he suffered a knee injury during training camp that sidelined him for the entire 2024 season.
The Vikings’ receiving corps currently features standout Justin Jefferson and emerging talent Jordan Addison as starters. Moore is expected to vie for the third receiver spot, previously held by Jalen Nailor, and could also be utilized in return duties, an area where he has previously excelled.
This signing adds depth and a unique skill set to the Vikings’ offense, providing quarterback Kirk Cousins with another reliable target and enhancing the team’s overall versatility.
