Wayne County man, 73, charged with multiple counts of child molesting
A 73-year-old Wayne County man has been charged with sexually abusing three children.
David A. Miles, Cambridge City, is charged in Wayne Circuit Court with eight counts of child molesting.
At the time of the reported assaults — alleged to have taken place between 2014 and 2019 — Miles was a resident of Richmond and Centerville.
The court document alleged Miles offered to move to Florida if the assaults were not reported to authorities.
Three of the charges against Miles are Class C felonies with maximum eight-year prison terms, while five are Level 4 felonies, each carrying up to 12 years in prison.
Miles, released from the Wayne County Jail after posting a $40,000 bond, has received a Feb. 4 trial date.
