Patti Smith became ill while on tour in Italy and was admitted to the hospital for a short period of time. The 76-year-old singer was scheduled to perform in
Bologna, but she had to postpone the event owing to a “sudden illness,” as the Teatro Duse venue in the city put it. She was checked out at a city hospital.
Smith had been released from the hospital and was in good health, according to a statement from the Bologna health authorities. They also expressed
