Next week, the
Winnipeg native, 26, will be able to sign a free agency contract. Oliveira’s salary was not disclosed, however TSN reports that he will get $230,000 this season and $240,000 in 2025. The five-foot-10, 222-pound Oliveira was named the top Canadian in the CFL and
a finalist for the outstanding player award after he rushed for 1,534 yards in the previous season. The Oak Park native’s running total was the second-highest in league history for a Canadian.

for 1,001 yards, marking his first 1,000-yard season. In the 2019 CFL draft, Winnipeg chose Oliveira with the 14th overall pick in the second round. He is set to rejoin his local team for a fifth season.
