Canadian-born Robert Thomas plays ice hockey professionally and serves as the St. Louis Blues’ alternate captain in the National Hockey League
(NHL). After playing hockey with the York Simcoe Express, Thomas went on to play for the London Knights and Hamilton Bulldogs in the Ontario Hockey
League. His greatest accomplishment in the OHL was taking the London Knights to the Memorial Cup as a rookie in 2016. His great performances and
these accomplishments made him the 20th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues. On September 28, 2017, Thomas signed a
three-year, $3,625,000 entry-level contract after an outstanding camp. He then went back to the Knights to further his development.
