Los Angeles Lakers Officially Sign Talented 3-Point Shooter
Xavier Musketeers player Quincy Olivari (8) is honored on Senior Night prior to the first half of the NCAA Big East basketball game between the Xavier Musketeers and the Marquette Golden Eagles on
Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Cintas Center in Cincinnati. Sam Greene/The Enquirer/USA TODAY NETWORK Quincy Olivari is coming off a successful college basketball season at Xavier. He finished the
season averaging 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 42.5% from the field and 40.9% from three in 34 games. This summer, Olivari was not selected in the
2024 NBA Draft. On Tuesday evening, Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation announced that the Los Angeles Lakers had officially signed Olivari to an Exhibit 10.The 23-year-old has shown to be a highly
consistent three-point shooter. While he is unlikely to make the roster, Olivari could be an intriguing prospect for the South Bay Lakers (G League). There is little doubt that he might be a candidate for a two-
way (or 10-day) deal this season. The Lakers concluded the season as the Western Conference’s seventh seed, with a 47-35 record. They defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament
before falling to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).
